Uses
Allyl caproate is a edible flavor temporarily permitted by China's regulations. It is often used to modulate strawberry, apricot, peach, sweet orange, pineapple, apple and other fruity flavors and tobacco flavors. However, IFRA stipulates that the content of allyl alcohol in commercial Allyl caproate should not exceed 0.1%, because allyl alcohol has a stimulating effect.
